The Birthday Massacre haben ihre Teilnahme an der „Into Darkness Tour“ abgesagt. Sie wollte dort mit Deathstars, Dope Stars Inc. und Diary of Dreams auf Tour in Europa gehen.
Die Band selbst gab bekannt das sie an einem neuen Album und einem neuen Internetauftritt arbeiten. Man habe zwar versucht alles unter deinen Hut zu bringen,
Eine Übersee-Tour erfordere sehr Planung und sei deswegen nicht in Einklang zu bringen, mit den anderen Aufgaben.

„We aren’t going to be able to make it to the ‚Into Darkness Tour‘ this October. We feel terrible about it – we know some of you were looking forward to seeing us again, and we were looking forward to playing with Deathstars, Diary of Dreams, and Dope Stars Inc. We tried to make it work until the last possible minute, but a lot goes into planning a tour – especially when it involves going overseas – and this time it just wasn’t possible. We know that Deathstars, Diary of Dreams and Dope Stars Inc are going to have a great time on tour and the shows are going to be awesome. We wish we could be there and we hope that any of you who can make it to that show…GO!“
